Story Time

Bella and I recently took a trip to our local public library to check out some books and enjoy Toddler Story Time.  While I was a little unsure about my child's attention span, and not sure what to expect from the class or the reader, all turned out well.  They read three short toddler friendly books, followed by a quick craft.

Bella did a nice job listening, and while she sat most of the time, she couldn't help herself but stand during this special story about balloons.

Afterwards they used markers to color dots on a chameleon, like the colorful chameleon in the book they read.  Considering this is Bella's first attempt with markers, I think she did pretty well. 

Participating in fun activities like this are a nice change to our day, and a fun summer activity.  Also good prep for Bella when she starts Parent Day Out in the fall.
