Spring has sprung

March has definitely come in like a lion this year, as we have already exceeded previous heat records, had a fluke snow fall, and even managed to have a few tornadoes pass through our area and neighboring states.  Not what you want at the start of spring, because goodness knows what it means for the rest of the season.  Thanks to this weather though, I have had my eyes on the sky a lot more these days, and managed a few really great pics.  And too, these pics remind me of my morning talks with Bella in the car.  We are usually on the road by 7 or so every morning, which is an awesome time to catch the sun lightening up our day.  We always name the colors we see in the sky and I have told her once or twice that God must have been up all night painting it for us.  How awesome it was to hear her say on Friday, "Look mommy, the sun is so bright and see all the colors?  God is painting the sky with his paint brush!  It is so bright and pretty!"  Awww, memories.

I managed to get this one after school one day, I just love the depth of the clouds,
from darkness to blue skies.

A very faint rainbow in the distance, that was literally there on minute,
and gone completely the next.
