Looking forward to...

While pregnancy does leave me looking forward to the things I miss, like sushi and pain free walks, the good to come definitely outnumbers that which I am missing out on.

However, I can't deny that I am so looking forward to meeting our little girl.  To imagine I am more than halfway through this pregnancy, now 28 weeks, it is finally becoming more of a reality that I will be holding our beautiful little babe in a little more than 2 months!!!  Oh how time flies, and will continue to thanks to all that is planned for December.

When I think of this little girl growing in my belly, I can't help but look forward the most to getting to know her.  It is so hard NOT to compare this pregnancy to that of her sister's, but at the same time there have been some noticeable differences.  I often sit and wonder about those differences, curious to see if they will pan out to an original little girl, with a personality all her own.  And the more she grows in my belly, the more I am very sure of that major possibility.

Here are the things I often wonder about you little babe, and what I look forward to the most when you arrive--
  • Will you be calm and laid back light that mellow heartbeat suggest, not to mention your gentle nudges as opposed to your sissy's summersaults in utero, or will you be just as wild and crazy as your big sister?
  • What will that laugh of yours sound like? This is my favorite thing hands down when it comes to all children and babies, so oh how I look forward to hearing yours.
  • What will you look like? Recent ultrasound pics have made me think your little thighs are going to be a chunky set, but I can't help but wonder about your hair color, eyes, skin… all those sweet little features I have to patiently wait to see.
  • Will you be a little babe that loves to cuddle and curl up in the arms of your mommy and daddy?
Also looking forward to seeing if you live up to the meaning of your new and FINALLY decided name--

Cannot wait to hold you in my arms.  Cannot wait to kiss your sweet face.  Cannot wait to meet you--but with this in mind, I would prefer you wait until after February 7th, Daddy's birthday, to make your debut.

Love all those questions! They'll be answered before you know it. And I had to laugh at "finally deciding the name." We were actually in the hospital finalizing, so well done.
