Our Aubrey, 1 month

Our lil' Aubrey, after just 1 month of life in our family, has managed to fit in quite well.  And though we have only had a short time with you thus far, we already know a lot about you--

You LOVE to sleep on your belly, preferably cuddled up on someone's chest.

And this is how you spent every night leading up to her 1 month birthday.  All because daddy thinks you might roll over in your sleep, and well, mommy just loves to cuddle with you.

You LOVE to stretch out those long arms and legs--which explains the constant pain in my ribs I experienced for the last few months of pregnancy.

You are strong and determined.
And LOVE tummy time, unlike your big sister who cried most days we tried.

You LOVE to eat!  While your big sister was a snoozer when it came to breastfeeding, or eating from a bottle, you are quite the opposite--you actually love eating so much you literally attack your food source and make a "munching" noise during most feedings, but especially those in the middle of the night.

Speaking of silly sounds, you have gotten nicknames like Squeakers (bc of the squeeky sound you make when you eat or are talking to your lambs in the swing), Piglet (for obvious reasons), and Baby Chick (you even chirp sometimes, all because of these silly sounds.  Oh, and a recently discovered one-Kitty, because you purr when you sleep!

There are moments when you look like just like your big sister--I remember B took a similar pic to this back in her early days.  If I find it, I will repost the two together.

You adore your big sister and all the smiles she gives you, most days, and love especially when she sings to you.  You have even fallen asleep in her arms a few times during our nighttime stories.

You also have a cry that could wake the neighborhood if you wanted to, though you tend to save that cry only for the one thing you DO NOT LIKE--nighttime diaper changes-- though you are pretty content otherwise.

You are a go with the flow kind of baby--you love napping in your Moby wrap on outings with your mom and sister, and have just begun to like riding in your carseat, though you do best only when the car is moving.

You have begun to smile at your Daddy, Mommy, and even sister Bella for the last week or so--and they are only increasing more and more by the day.
