Halloween Celebrations Part 2

So Halloween this year was a little different because, well, they were expecting crazy rain!  And our neighborhood, as well as the rest of Louisville, decided they would just move Halloween to a day that was ok weather wise.  Problem was, that day they moved it to was a Friday and Drew and I had planned a date night, which we weren't too eager to cancel.

So Drew had the idea to make our own Trick or Treating of sorts, where else, but our dry basement.  We even invited down a special friend to participate in the festivities.

Drew had gone all out and equipped the basement and all the toy friends with candy buckets for the kids to have their mock trick or treating.

Afterwards it was time to check out all the loot--which meant Bella went into sorting mode.  So particular she is.

Chance managed to enjoy a special treat or two.

And the dads were great about posing.
The kids, well, not so much.

It was definitely an imaginative Halloween and the best part was the kids didn't know any different from the real thing.
