21 months. Every single thing you are doing these days is a reminder of how much closer you are to your 2nd birthday. We are all hanging on to your baby-hood by a thread. Your big girl, Ms. Independent attitude is evident in everything you do, and you are determined to do it all on your own. I love watching you grow, and change, and I especially love the big hugs you are giving these days. Here are a few other things we love about you at 21 months:
You can count to five, and say A-B-C-D-E.
You are working on potty training.
Currently you have gone 6 days without an accident, so we are pretty proud of what you have accomplished in the last two weeks. But I believe it is possible you are even prouder than we are.
You love music class, playing instruments and singing songs. You love running around the house singing songs, your favorites "Me, Me, Me" and "See the Ponies Galloping." And of course, Ariel songs too!
You are slowly beginning to try new foods. I still consider you pretty picky, but we are finally able to get you to taste new things, even if it is just one bite. Your favorites are still the foods you can "hold" and eat all on your own.
You love picking out your own clothes these days. Running around the house in your swimsuit or princess nightgown is not uncommon.
Your language has exploded! You are constantly talking in sentences, and you are really starting to make us laugh at some of the things that are coming out of your mouth.
"Playing Minnie Ball with Caddy" is your favorite thing to do with your four legged brother. You cackle every time he chases the big rubber ball around the basement, and it is the only time you don't mind if Caddy knocks you down.
