Bella's First Day of School

Bella started Parent Day Out this week at a nearby church, and what a big moment it was for her.  She got a special school bus for her little people, and a Curious George book to help learn a little more about what to expect a few days before.

The ride there she continued to say, "I go school…I go school… I GO SCHOOL!"  She was definitely excited about this special day.  And I was thankful I was able to drop her off that morning since I won't be able to pick her up in the afternoons when it is over.

Once we got there, I managed to take a few pictures.

This one makes her look so grown up!

This one on the other hand, definitely tells me she was ready to go in, 

and for her mommy to stop snapping pictures. 

Bella remembered the ark toy from her orientation visit, 

so she was super excited to get in there and play with the "Raffe, Mo, and I-on."

We even managed to get a pic of the two of us.  Though I have a feeling she was eying another toy, rather than taking in this moment before mommy said Bye, Bye.

She did GREAT her first day!  No tears when I left, barely even a wave, and she played hard the whole time.  Bella was excited to see and meet her new friends, and hopefully it will be as successful the next time as it was on this first day.
