As I was cleaning out some of your old toys and packing them in boxes for storage, you came across a book, with a picture similar to this… but imagine it about 20 times bigger than the actual size.
You quickly asked what's that, with a tiny bit of fear in your voice. I told you, a bug, then you pointed to the bees, and I identified them specifically. But finished it with, "But don't worry Bella, they are very tiny." Well, wouldn't you know those "tiny" bees returned in the bathtub later that night. You refused to get in the tub because there were "bees" aka specs of dirt in the tub! No matter how much your daddy and I tried to coerce you, you would not have anything to do with it! I am just thankful those bees didn't return in the middle of the night in your sleep. Though I suspect they will, or some other strange fear will, in the future.
*UPDATE--These "bugs" in the tub have now become your close friend. Cleaning the tub did nothing to make the fear go away, so rather than say they are not there, I told you they were your friends. They were nice bugs, and they liked to have parties. This made you excited, you even sang happy birthday to them and served them tea to drink. Guess you gotta make the most of what you are given. =)
