Strange Winter

This has been the most unusual winter I have seen in a long time.  With only a handful of freezing temperature days, we have had more tornado warnings than snow storms.  Recently though, we had a fluke snowfall.  I managed to get some pics on the day of.

I was sad there was no snow day because I really would have loved if B and I could have enjoyed the day playing in the snow throwing snowballs at Caddy and sledding in the backyard.  And sadly, we didn't even get to enjoy it that evening because I had to do the bi-annual shopping excursion at the Little Treasures Consignment Sale for Bella's summer/spring wardrobe.

So instead, I promised her we would enjoy the snow on Tuesday when mommy and Bella were home for the day.  Little did I know that the temps would hit 70 degrees, and the snow that was once so beautiful was now nearly non-existent.  So we played in the tiny patches of snow on the edge of our yard, and Bella managed to make her first snowman.  With a little help from mommy.
