Recently Bella and I went flower picking. This little girl LOVES the outdoors and I knew she would love helping mommy pick out the flowers for our pots.
She was much more decisive than her mommy though. Bella found the flower she wanted and was ready to leave. This mommy on the other hand traded flowers back and forth until I found an eclectic combination for my three outdoor pots.
Planting the flowers was a whole new thing too, and I honestly wasn't sure how Bella was going to do, since she is so particular about her hands getting dirty. However, I was pleasantly surprised because she literally DUG right in. hehe. She was a pro at helping mommy scoop the soil into the pots, and even planted her own flower all by herself.
So glad we were able to do this fun activity together. I am hoping I might be able to manage to plant a few fruits or vegetables in pots, I was thinking strawberries and tomatoes, in the next few weeks too. I know Bella would LOVE to see these things growing in her yard, and may even temp her to eat them a bit more. Of course, it is a matter of finding the time to plant, and a place to plant them. So we will see!

I love her rain jacket and boots!!!
She loves shoes--no idea where she gets that from--and since it turned out to be a bit rainy we had to pair the coat with the boots!
