Aubrey's 2 month check up went great! She made sure the doctor could check off all the developmental milestones by smiling, laughing, pulling up, cooing and holding her head up for her. She weighed in at 11lb, 8oz and her head measured 39.5cm putting her in the 75th percentile for head and weight. Her length was 22in, which put her in the 40th percentile, but the doctor said this is common because babies typically grow head, weight, length! So this just meant she was about to go through a growth spurt, which she did that very night. ;)
These days Aubrey remains to be a laid back lil' girl and a fantastic sleeper. She typically sleeps from 9:00-6:30 usually waking up one or two times per night. But easily tucks right back into bed.
She remains to love cuddling with whoever is available.
Since I headed back to work a on April 17 she has begun spending her days with her Grandmom, Grammy and Aunt Sarah, depending which day of the week it is. She appears to have made that transition well, which made returning a lot easier for this mommy.
Aubrey loves swinging in her swing, tummy time, and watching her sister dance, play and sing. She will also grasp her rattle if you place it in her hand, and she loves chatting with her lambs in the swing.
Because she is so laid back, bath time is a joy and she rarely cries or gets upset when she is dipped into the water.
Each day with this girl we are reminded of the blessing God continues to hand down to our family, and we are so thankful for each one. What a joy it is to be the mom of this precious baby, and we are looking forward to watching her grow and change even more in the months ahead!
