Baby Brain

So anyone who knows me, knows this--I am a forgetful person. So the BABY BRAIN really hasn't been a problem for me, because that is just my nature until this week...This week, I scheduled a lunch with a friend, on the same day as a wedding shower I have known about for weeks, but the biggest blunder was this:

I arrived home after a great day out only to realize no one had arrived to hang our drywall as planned. So I played the middle person between Drew and our contractor to figure out a day to reschedule. In a nutshell, Drew wanted them to come Saturday to make up for the missed time today. Well, when I got a call back from the contractor, I heard, "Saturday won't work but they will be there first thing on SUNDAY." I thought this sounded fine, I called Drew, and quickly learned otherwise. So when I called BACK the contractor, for the umpteen time, I told him Sunday was no good, but instead to plan for the original plan of Monday. His response, "I didn't know Sunday was ever an option, I didn't say Sunday." So as for this blunder, I plan to keep it to myself, Drew really doesn't need to know about my confusion in the matter. =)
