This is the day...

"This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made!" I have woken up the past two days with this song ringing in my head, and after following today's appointment with the doctor, I now know why. Today was the long awaited moment, where Drew and I had the chance to hear the steady heartbeat of our little baby. What a blessed moment this was! And how grateful we are to God that this little baby is doing well, and pushing on as he or she enters it's 11th week. Oh how I longed for this moment, and I can't help but "rejoice and be glad in it," just like the song says.

Thank you all for the prayers for both me and the baby. Many of you know how important this moment was for me and my sanity. =) I am a bit of a worrier when it comes to pregnancy, and this moment really wiped my slate clean. I feel so grounded now, it will definitely tide me over for the next 3 weeks 'till my next appointment.
