A Trip to Westport Village

About two weekends ago, the sun showed itself, after a long week of rainy days.  It was as sunny as could be, and while it was a bit warmer, it didn't stop me and Bella from exploring some new outside places.  Together, with my mom, we made a trip to Westport Village and enjoyed the food at Tony Boombas and the great little shops scattered through out.  There were some one of a kind stores there and we will definitely be returning this summer.  Very likely for the farmer's market on Saturdays from 3-5, so we can get some veggies for Bella as she starts moving into more solid foods.

Our favorite part of the day was our visit to Comfy Cow, a great little ice cream spot with homemade ice cream and treats.  I got a great ice cream flavor, but I was thrilled to see they also have chocolate covered bananas, reason enough for me to return very soon to this tiny taste of heaven.

This little girl was not eager to share the spotlight though.

Bella really enjoyed the baby cow outside the dessert spot.  And while we took about 25 pictures in an effort to get her to look up and smile just once, she was much too busy admiring the concrete cow that was just perfectly her size.
