Call me crazy but I just feel the need to get my daughter's hair cut this early on. I know she is a girl, and girls are supposed to have long hair. Which believe you me, I am super excited about one day--braids, pigtails...Love it! But I want her hair to have the best potential possible, and according to my hairdresser, that is met when you trim a baby's hair--so it has the chance to grow full and evenly. Which means no mullit-like hairstyles for her as we wait for the top the catch up with the back.
And considering we have trimmed her hair since she was about 3 weeks old, this is really just a formality since we no longer trust ourselves to trim the ends of our busy little girl.
So for all of you who compliment Bella and her beautiful thick hair, now you know the secret behind it. Or at least that's what I like to think.
