A Summer Reflection

I have enjoyed every minute with my Baby Bella this summer, but in less than a week, the school year will begin, which means back to life as a "working mom."  Since this summer's blog seems to be filled with lots of activity, but little thought, I wanted to take a little time to reflect on it all:

Isabella, you have changed so much in such a short time.  To think this summer started and you could barely sit up on your own, and now you are crawling and cruising all over the place!  Slowly I have watched you move farther from being my baby, and closer to being my little girl.  I am so blessed to be able to enjoy this time with you, time as a "stay at home mom," time where I can just sit back and watch you grow, as we play away the hours of each day.  You have taught me to be more laid back, and relaxed about life, and have shown me how to appreciate and enjoy the simple things in each day.  For you, each thing is new and exciting, and I love seeing the joy on your face each time you do something new.

Looking at pictures, from June to now, wow...  It really does leave me speechless.

I hope you know how much your mommy loves you, and how important this time is to me.  During the school year, time seems to just fly by, but this summer, was filled with lazy, wonderful days.

While our first summer together may be over "Little Bits," the fall brings many wonderful things to look forward to.  Football Games with friends, days with your grandmas, your 1st birthday, maybe your first steps, and maybe even, an overnight visit with your grandmas?  Only time will tell.  I do know, that your daddy and I will enjoy each minute we share with you.
