I have really been eager to get Bella to Krispy Kreme, where the doughnuts are so yummy they just melt in your mouth. My mouth is just watering at the thought.
Well, Bella and I ventured out in the storm last Monday, even though Mommy was supposed to be working and even though we probably should have been hanging indoors trying to stay dry. But instead I took a "sick" day, after a busy and emotional weekend, so I could enjoy some time with Bella and Caddy just relaxing. Caddy however did not venture on this trip out.
Since Aunt Wendy and Uncle Mike gave her a Krispy Kreme Valentine, Bella's doughnut was free! She chose the one with chocolate and sprinkles. Well, mommy chose that one for her. But you could tell she loved it.
This little one loves sweets, just like her mommy, and she couldn't wait to dive into the colorful snack.

This was her expression when she realized that bag was empty of doughnuts and it was time to go home.
In the end, a little rain never hurt anyone, and it was totally worth the frizzy hair we carried around the rest of the day.
