One of the coolest things we did on our trip was hunt for shells on Caspersen Beach.  Our beach in Siesta Keys had a few shells to gather no doubt, but this one was unimaginable the number we found!  It is also a super cool spot for shark teeth, though we didn't manage to find any this time around my parents found five the last time they were there.

Bella was ready with her bucket in tow.  Not sure how the mermaid planned to help, but Bella said she was a must have for our trip.

This is a shot of the beach, and those rocks explains why this beach was known for shell hunting.  They were a great trap for all the shells that got washed up on shore, with no chance of returning back into sea.

Check out all those shells.  And these were small compared to the pile we found.

So serious my lil' Bella.

This trip we were not the best about getting shots together, but I did manage to get a great one of Mike and Wendy on the beach.  What a happy couple.

To say Bella was covered in sand from head to toe was truly an understatement, but thankfully they had a shower system where the kid could hose off.  And since we had an outfit for her to change into, we made the most of it.  And so did she.  She loved the kid-size shower--I didn't tell her it was really meant for feet. ;)

Just a few Bella highlights from our shell gathering.

And checkout all these shells we found!
