One of the additional gifts from Drew for our anniversary were concert tickets to see Mumford and Sons on the waterfront. While it was a month after our anniversary, it was well worth the wait. And even though much of the daytime was filled with scattered showers across Louisville, it made for a perfectly cool night, and the perfect outdoor setting for a little time out of the house for Drew and I. We made a full night of it--eating dinner downtown with another couple, then heading to the waterfront just on time for our band to begin.
I had never been to a concert on the waterfront before, but this one definitely made me want to return again soon.
Thanks Drew for a fantastic anniversary present! It was great having the chance to spend a little time out, away from our mommy and daddy roles, and enjoy the company of friends too!
