One Last Zoo Trip

A week before I headed back, unofficially, to school--to deal with classroom setup, PDs, meetings and more--Bella and I made a trip together to the zoo.  And since it seems I tend to offer up a lot of zoo pics on here, rather than being redundant, I made an effort to just add the highlights.

The youngest of the three polar bears was out on this day, and he was consumed with something tucked in the rocks.  Bella enjoyed admiring him through the underwater window.

Bella is a huge fan of playgrounds, so rarely do we make it to the zoo without climbing a few ladders, and sliding down a few slides.

And I know this picture is a regular kind of occurence, but I just had to so I could compare it to the previous ones we have taken the past few years.

And here is, practicing her serious face.  Since she is a girl full of emotions these days, I think this is one of my favorite.

All in all, the perfect zoo trip.  We managed to make it to every exhibit that had animals in it, ride the carousel, enjoy a playground, and even eat a few snacks along the way.  Oh how I love our zoo trips, and will surely miss them now that school is back in session.
