the sound of a growing baby's heartbeat inside the mommy's belly. That is how I felt on Wednesday after hearing our baby's heart flutter for the second time. The fact that my mother and Drew's mom were in the room, as well as my amazing doctor, all seemed to disappear, because it was just me and baby. If that doctor would have let me, I would have listened to that heartbeat all day long. It is in those moments when I am 100% sure Drew and I are going to be parents, 100% sure all is well with our baby, and 100% sure I love this tiny little baby growing inside of me. And what is even better, I got the heartbeat recorded, so now I can remind myself all is well whenever I need to--and if I could figure out how, I may even download it to the blog. The doctor says all is well with baby McWhorter, his or her heartbeat is in the 160s.
Only 4 more weeks when will will meet this baby thanks to an ultrasound machine and monitor. We are so grateful to God for this blessing, and the constant reminders that a miracle is growing inside of me.
