So anyone who knows me, knows I have an appreciation for ALL music in this world, and am pretty proud of the fact that I know the words to almost any song. However, I came to discover today, that during pregnancy, country music should be listened to at minimum, specifically Carrie Underwood. You can only imagine me, driving down the highway belting out my tunes when "Jesus Take the Wheel" came on. I was immediately led to uncontrollable tears, and while you think that one song would have been enough, I had to listen to "All American Girl" too.
Honestly, it was enough to send this pregnant woman into an emotional breakdown. So I encourage all of you pregnant women, or even those who are postpartum, listen to country music at your own risk, and take the following should be label into consideration, "Listen to at your own risk, pregnant women may experience, but not limited to, the following side effects: uncontrollable crying, sobbing, and emotional breakdowns."
I guess in the end though, it is good that I can look back and laugh at myself.
