The week that just kept on going...

Many of you know exactly how impossible it is for me to limit myself during this pregnancy. I have continued on with my "do it all" attitude, no matter how much my body has pushed against it. Well, again, it came to a head this week. Here is my list of To Do's I checked off, and check out my Friday activities for the end result.

Monday: 7am work check in to plan for the week, oil change 'till 5:00pm after school, thenstayed up late that night working on a lesson plan for KTIP.

Tuesday: 7am Dermatologist Appointment, Field Trip to Frankfort with the 4th grade, PD at work 4:00-5:30.

Wednesday: 7:30 work check-in, hair appointment at 4:30pm, Bible Study at Southeast 6:30-8:30pm.

Thursday: 7:30 check in at work, shopping for shoes then dinner 'till 5:30.

Friday: woke up early, planned for a 7:30 arrival, but didn't make it until 8:15 thanks to a detour on the way to school--I threw up in my car--good thing I think quick and found a bag! I won't give you anymore of the grueling details, because the thought is enough for me. Somehow, I still met with my KTIP mentor, before school and made it to my collab class on time. After that, I taught my writing lesson, and checked into the office to take my temperature--just to make sure all was ok. No temperature, but no one would let me go back to class. From their my convincing, and caring, coworkers pushed me out the door demanding I go home to rest. So caring, they even refused to let me drive myself home, so I rode along with our counselor as another coworker drove my car.

So what did the rest of Friday look like? Me lounging around the house, catching up on some much needed rest, living off of soup, crackers, gingerale and hot tea. While the cause of the sudden illness was allergy related, I think my long drawn out week might have played a role.

May this be a lesson that sinks in this time.
