This weekend was the first baby shower for little Isabella, where I was the guest of honor, since she is not quite ready to make her grand appearance, just yet. First off the whole shower experience is very surreal, no matter how big my belly gets or how many questions I answer about our baby, I still don't realize the impact this little baby is making on our life, and so many others. Today reminded me of this blessing, how blessed she is to have so many people that love her and are looking forward to her arrival. And I expect, this love to be a steadfast reminder as I approach four more showers in my future, and the nearing days of this little girl's arrival.
What a great time it was to spend time with old friends and catch up, and how grateful I am that my family could make it as well.
What a wonderful shower Diane, Lenelle, and Erica threw in honor of our little girl. Everything looked great!
As I said, EVERYONE was very generous, here are a few highlights.
What a great group we had at the shower! Not only my dear high school friends and their mothers, but also the grandmas-to-be, my mammaw, and the Zinner Family, Misty, Wendy, Darlene, and Kaleigh on top of the great party hostesses.
