Taste Testing

Bella, you are such a picky eater.  Goodness knows I am so tired of feeding you spaghetti-os or something of the like because you refuse to anything with rice or vegetables.  I always say you have your daddy's acquired taste for things, but when you don't like something even he likes, I am in awe!

Because of this, I am stepping out of the box, and spending a little more time in the kitchen in hopes that you will enjoy some new tasty treats that are good for you.  My goal, is to try a new recipe every week, one that is bound to be baby friendly, and hopefully will pass even your high standards.

Chicken and Apple Bites

2 small chicken breasts, cubed
1 apple, peeled, cored and crated (I just used a food processor)
1tbs of parsley
1/2 red onion (I nixed this considering you and your daddy DO NOT like onions)
1 cup of bread crumbs (I made mine fresh from wheat bread)
1 tbs of chicken broth
whole wheat flour
sunflower oil

Mix the chicken, apple, parsley, onion and broth in a food processor until thoroughly combined.  Ball mixture into bite size balls making at least 20.  Roll each ball in the whole wheat flour.  Cook balls in sunflower oil, using med size skillet, until golden brown.

These were a hit with you, me, and even, Daddy!  And rather filling too.  Considering you ate two before dinner, one more during and called it a day--this was not intended to be her dinner, but you live and learn.

I'll try and post the recipes she enjoys on here, because for those other picky eaters out there, I know I will take whatever I can get!
