While the flight was 4 hours, it was worth every minute. And being surrounded by Auburn Fans, even flying out of Louisville, made it a great experience. Check out the view once we got in AZ.
It was a must that we pick up our tickets once we arrived to our hotel. We couldn't wait to hold them in our hands. Imagine our surprise when we discovered six out of our eight seats were just eight rows up from the field in the Auburn End Zone!? That was total fate, because we did not pay the price such tickets would cost.
Lunch at a nearby street restaurant was our next stop, and who would have thought that we would run into another Tri Delta sister? Below is a pick of Annette, our run-in, me and Lauren, my old roommate from college. Delta Sisters 'till we die!
Check out that clear blue sky--couldn't have been more perfect!
Now Saturday, us girls decided to make a trip to the outlet stores using the metro. Ha!
Let's just say we never made it. But got a great hour long tour of the Pheonix area. And while this picture was taken BEFORE we got lost, I think it definitely represents our end result.
The boys find this nice patio on the 3rd floor of our hotel to play some ball. Great sky line view! Too bad they popped John's Auburn Football on a nearby cactus. Who would have thought it?
This metro trip was more successful.
Below is Alice, Lauren and I on our way with the boys, to Tavern on the Mill.
Once we got there, it soon became a Chi Phi Reunion. Check out all those Chi Phi boys! They were so happy to be together once again.
If you didn't notice, us girls were outnumbered. But we didn't mind.
Keep an eye out for another post specific to the actual game day.
