These days she is moving around, and this is my favorite part of pregnancy because with each movement I know that our baby girl is happy and healthy as can be. This little one is a bit more gentle with her moves, and while nighttime tends to be her peak hours, she is a big fan of having pushing matches with her mommy. Almost every day in the last week, we(me and baby-to-be) have played a game of "You Push, I Push." Which means we spend about 15 minutes pushing back and forth on my belly-- until she decides she is over it, and thrust her back( I am guessing) into my abdomen, turning her feet and arms away from the tummy stimulation). I love that she is already so interactive and I am interested to see how this plays out when we have this little girl to hold in our arms soon.
I am still in the stage of trying to get Drew to fill her move though all my attempts she immediately goes into hiding. Funny story though--Drew was jiggling my belly a few nights ago when he told me good night, and she must have given him such a firm kick it because it made his hand jump up and come right back down on my belly--assuming because he was caught so off guard. Now this totally caught me off guard too since he slapped my stomach unexpectedly, plus I usually feel her movement even when he doesn't. I guess she was sending a message to her daddy that night. And he just loved it!
So while this one doesn't seem to be quite the busy body her sister is, she definitely has a bit of feisty in her, which appears to be a trait consistent in every member of our family thus far. So at least we can say she is getting it honest. ;)
