Someone recently graduated from Dance Class--here she is posing with her friend Tori, who had just completed her last gymnastics class for the term.
Dance was great, and she learned a lot in a short time. She goes around the house bowing to her daddy and I, and showing off her arabesques and shuffle ball change. But truly, we are taking a dance break--while she was a fantastic listener, she still talked about "the day she would do gymnastics" after every class.
Then here our "big girl" daughter is hamming it up for the camera.
She is full of facial expressions and quite the drama princess.
Recently our girl started back up in gymnastics…and she is loving every minute of it! I desperately need to take my new camera to get some good shots, but check out her listening skills as she sits perfectly on the white line, second from the end, awaiting her turn so patiently.
Words cannot express how much she LOVES gymnastics and how excited she is about this class each week--she literally counts down the days starting on Sunday, the day after her class each week.
Recently we visited a friend and her sweet set of twins, Jameson and Sloan. Bella was super pumped to hold baby Sloan, "since she was the girl." It was great seeing her being so gentle and loving with such a tiny babe! Gives me hope for her and her lil' sister in the weeks ahead. And thank you Brittany for letting us try out our daughter and her sister skills with your twins.
Bella also LOVES her new room! She spends most afternoons during the week playing up in her room, reading books to her babies and animals, doctoring her dolls, or dressing up her princesses.
Here is another glimpse...
We recently purchased the above beanbag cover online at Land of Nod, and she helped me stuff it with all her stuffed animals, after a little convincing. Words cannot express how happy this mommy is that all her animals, well most, have a permanent home that is not scattered and tossed all over the floor. And turns out, she loves it too--and sits in it every night as we read before bed.
I promise there are days of better pics and more dedicated posts in the weeks ahead…Just trying my hardest to check off that to do list before we have a real live newborn here in our house! Though truly, if she were to come tomorrow, I don't know if I could be any happier--I am so ready to hold her in my arms--and I know her daddy and sister are too.
Caddy, well, he has already made himself quite at home in her room, so I guess he is excited too.
