Thanks to built in snow days for my school district, I was still in school come memorial day, but we made the most of our long weekend together as a family.
We went to our annual family cookout at Aunt Sarah and Uncle James' house.
Bella LOVED flying her kite.
To be honest though, the only reason her kite was flying is because she was running at full speed around their big back yard. But she enjoyed it regardless.
Of course, Bella, a girl after my own heart, loves her sweets as much as her mommy.

Bella also enjoyed pretending to be a paleontologist with her Aunt Dena.
There is nothing more fun than digging in rocks, and when there is a willing adult to join in the fun, well, it just doesn't get any better.
And where was Aubrey? Oh this girl was chatting it up with her daddy for much of the cookout. She also enjoyed some snuggles from the rest of the gang as well.
