We have made it to summer and while these first two weeks have had a little of the unexpected--I was sick for 7 days to the point of no voice followed by B with a sore throat and yucky cough--we have managed to fit in a lot of fun too.
We have made a couple trips to the pool as a family of four, and thankfully the water has been a bit cool on the days it was just me and the girls, so that meant we enjoyed some time at the baby pool. Sounds silly, but this mom is not quite ready to venture to the BIG pool with two kids, unless daddy is there to help.
Aubrey made her first pool appearance, and looked like the sweetest lil' flower in this swimsuit her grammy found just for her. She was the talk of the baby pool!
Of course, her sissy can't be outdown. Bella had a ball playing with her friends, and snuggling up in her towel to stay warm and cozy. How can you not love this girl?
This was a different pool visit, where I didn't even bring my suit thanks to the cool breeze.
But Bella was pretty pumped her daddy was brave enough to venture into the water with her.
We also managed an impromptu playdate after a visit to the pool that was just too cool.
