I have been patiently waiting for Drew to really have the chance to experience our baby's movement firsthand, rather than hear about it through my constant conversation about our little busy-body. Well, today was the day! She was wiggling and wriggling while Drew hung out with me in the bedroom, and this time she decided to stick around long enough to glide herself across my belly a few times under the gentle touch of his large hand.
I think he was pretty shocked that she can move like that inside me. And the even funnier thing was, after the first movement, he immediately requested I "stop breathing" so he could feel her again. Haha! Like that matters. I love Drew, and I love that he finally got to experience just a hint of what I feel on a near hourly basis.
