Getting ready for the days ahead...

This week hold many things, but the most important of those is Drew's long awaited surgery on Tuesday. His knee has gotten a little sorer with each passing day of the summer, and now that he has played in his last golf tournament, the time has come.

In preparation of the big day, we have made the most of this weekend. We took some time to grill out, just he and I, make a trip to the Homemade Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen and end it all with a nice movie curled up on the couch together. We figured this will be our last date for a while following his surgery, with only a few more in all before the baby arrives.

Caddy enjoyed the cookout just as much as the rest of us, see how proud he is to pose for the picture?

My hubby, the chef! He did such a great job on dinner that night! It is his surgery, and he was taking care of me, I didn't have to do a thing!

Drew is also going to take some time for a 36 hole on Sunday and another 18 holes on Monday. Please keep him in your prayers. His surgery is at bright and early 7:30am! We will be so jolly that morning, I am sure.
