A Royal Dinner

For dinner on our first day at Disney, we enjoyed Dinner with the Princesses in Cinderella's Castle.  This was the moment I was most excited for, considering Bella's endless love for Ariel.  And since many of our "Ariel books" include the other princesses, she has become familiar with a few others as well.

If you haven't done the Royal Dinner, than let me set the stage.  On entering the castle, you are greeted by Cinderella, where you snap a quick group photo.  Then, you traipse up the stairs, to a royal eating area.  There you are served delicious food, and about every 10 minutes or so, a princess' story is heard overhead.  Then suddenly she appears…

Now imagine Bella squealing at the top of her lungs like a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert.  This was her reaction when Ariel hit the stage.

Slowly each of the princesses make their way around the room to greet all of their "guests."  Snow White, or "white" as Bella refers to her, was by far my favorite princess at the dinner.  She is just so classic.  Bella however was a bit awe struck.

Aurora however brought a smile to this little girl's face.  And I am afraid to say it is a rather BIG GIRL smile.

But the most important princess of all was Ariel, and while this picture does not show it, on the video, it literally looks like Bella is going to burst into tears of joy and she even says quietly, "I love her."  Just precious!

She was definitely stunned that Ariel was there in the flesh, but boy was she excited that she had "colored" in her book.

Belle is another one of Bella's favorites, thanks to a Christmas gift from Santa this past year.  And this Belle was full of personality, even noticing that Bella already had one signature by Belle in her book.  The princess response, "You must be following me all over the park.  I remember meeting you earlier in my yellow dress."  This was the look Bella gave in return.  LOVE IT!

Nearing the end of your dinner they do a time of wishing, where a song is played and the princesses interact with the crowd.  Everyone waving their magic wands over heard.  Well a special birdie found out that Bella's favorite princess was Ariel, therefore Ariel returned to our table for a one-on-one song and then together they made a wish on a star.

This was B, when she saw her returning to our table.

And this was Bella, wand in hand with Ariel, making a wish.

I loved Bella's reaction to all the characters at the park, but this was possibly my favorite part of the trip because I know just how much she loves Ariel.  And to see this smile, ahh, it melts my heart!
