The 6th and Final Shower

No I did not plan for six showers, but in the end we had a few surprises wrapped up in the mix of those that were already scheduled. And all in all, our little girl is very blessed and very loved, and we are so grateful for all the support we have received.

This shower was hosted by Jessie Thornton, one of the best friends I could have. The shower was at her house, and she went all out to make it a day I would remember. Her mom helped her prepare the day before, and our friends Mandy Schmidt and Rosmond Dolen helped with the prep and clean up following the festivities. All in all, it turned into a great celebration! I got to catch up with friends from all different walks of life, and I am so glad so many were able to make it.

We had a great time playing fun games, my favorite was the race to see who could empty liquid from a baby battle the fastest.

Shannon was the proud winner!

We also enjoyed a delicious cake made by my friend Laura, but unfortunately I failed to get a picture of it. She knew exactly what to make though, a layer of carrot and a layer of strawberry. I enjoyed one of each, one for me, and one for Bella. =)
