My 28th Birthday

My 28th birthday though on the 9th of October, was extended over the course of a week thanks to my busy schedule. And what an interesting birthday it was. This day could have come and passed, and honestly, I don't think I would have known the difference. And that is NOT because it was recognized, Drew and my family and friends made it known it was my birthday, but for me, I just didn't anticipate the date like I have all of my previous birthdays, because it seems the only date I have in mind right now is the arrival of our little girl. I expect this will be the case for many birthdays to come.

None the less, I am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life who took the time to recognize this birthday and pamper me a bit on top of it all. It was a great day, and week to follow, getting to celebrate with Drew, my friends and family.
