Aubrey Madison, 4 month check up

Our little Aubrey Madison is 4 months today, and we managed to make it to the doctor to find out all her recent stats and get the 4 month set of vaccines--which she handled beautifully (though it helps that I don't have to fight this pediatrician and nurses about holding my child during the shots--remember that with Bella?).

Anywho, our little girl is not so little.  She currently weighs in at 14lbs, 15 ounces, is 25 inches long and 42.5 cm in head circumference! Her weight and length fall in the 85th percentile and her head in the 90th!  Wow!

They doctor was impressed with her head control and neck strength, and we were given the ok to start rice anytime now. And this mommy is hoping that rice will be just the thing it takes to get her back to waking up only 1x/night.  In recent weeks Aubrey has begun waking 2 or more times a night, sometimes to eat, sometimes to chat it up with mommy, it all depends.  But I guess when you make a jump from 40th percentile in length (at 2 months) to 85th percentile (at 4 months) you are going to need some extra feedings in there.  At least she is jolly at all hours of the day, right?
