After our 4 month appointment we were given the OK to start solids with our little Aubrey. And I can't deny the fact that we are all hoping that with a little practice this will be just the trick that helps her sleep through, or even just longer, during the night.
So we decided it only made since to start with rice…
From this look, I don't think she agrees.
"You want me to eat what?"
Since this was her initiation to solid food, not a lot actually stayed in her mouth.
However, she did warm up to the rice after a little practice.
And we even managed to get a happy smile.
I forgot to mention, this solid feeding was a family affair.
Bella has really been looking forward to this moment when she could help feed Aubrey, thanks to all her big sister books that really play it up.
Bella really was a great helper.
And Aubrey was a good sport about it all.

With rice out of the way it is on to oatmeal and then, some yummy fruits!
So excited to take this BIG step with our baby Aubrey!
