Back in May, a week or two before school let out, Drew and I managed to fit in our first date night. And while we had planned for a simple dinner and movie deal like we always do, he called me that day at work and throughout a different idea all together.
Glow Ball.
What is that you ask? Well this is when you play couples golf, 6 holes in the daylight then inside for appetizers and drinks. Then when the sun is set it is time for 6 more holes, but this time, with your glow balls.
Not quite our typical date which is why I was all about it.
Sounded fun and different and several of our friends were there to enjoy it with as well.
The golf course was beautiful at that time of night, loved watching the sun set.
All in all, I didn't do too shabby considering I haven't played golf in at least 7 years or so. It appears my four iron is still my go to club, and my putting still needs a little work.
Drew, well, we all know how great a golfer he is, so I don't need to add any comments about his scoring or club choice. He plays a bit more frequently than me.
We had a great time, and I am hoping the club has another even like this soon.
