Bounce, Shake, Shh-Shh-Shh

Aubrey's 4 month shots may have went smoothly at the doctor's office, and may have even caused our little girl to sleep through the night (7:30-5:15) that night following, but the 5 days after that were filled with a fussy baby--something I am frankly not use to one bit.  Considering she is typically a babe you can just tuck in her bed, and off to sleep she goes, I didn't know how to handle the crying that came with both nap time and bedtime for these days.

In the end I discovered the only thing that made this girl not cry was a nice combinattion of bouncing, while swaying, while saying "shh-shh-shh."  It only took an hour to figure this out and in the end we were both exhausted.

Somehow Bella managed to sleep through all of it herself.

Bedtime has returned back to normal, thank goodness, though we are going to have to work on re-transitioning her to the crib for nap time.  I used the swing as a crutch these 5 days, which made Aubrey a bit of a movement junky when it came to naps.
