Bella had her 6 month check up on Monday and nothing but good things to share. Developmentally, she is right where she should be, sitting up tri-pod style, rolling over, making lots of vowel and consenant sounds... and she continues to follow the same 25th percentile for weight, 15.7lbs, and 50.5th percentile for height, 26 inches. She even decided to sprout the beginings of a bottom middle tooth to makes sure every milestone was being met.
All went well with the immunizations, and this time I had no trouble convencing the staff that I would be holding my daughter from here on out when it comes to procedures. Guess it didn't take them long to figure out I am the crazy mom. =) I am honestly considering taking in some information about positioning for comfort to the staff to help them see the positives for the child when parents use a comfort position during procedures.
Since then we have had a teething baby on our hands. Bella is honestly, doing pretty good through the night considering. For the most part she is not waking up, though she will give the occasional wimper in her sleep, which melts her mommy's heart. Now that her left bottom tooth has pushed its tip all the way through, the one on the right has decided to make a debut too. Turns out she is following the teething trend by the book, instead of getting her eye teeth first--remember when we thought this might be the case? Thank goodness for that, because I surely didn't need my little girl looking like a vampire with a name like Bella. =)
