It seems the older our little Isabella gets, the less willing she is to take a nap. Napping with her grandmothers isn't difficult at all, but Bella has learned that she doesn't get to see her mommy and daddy as much, so why not just stay awake and enjoy every minute she gets with us on the weekends? We are thankful for our nights that are full of good sleep and sweet dreams, but a restless baby during the day is not something I want to get use to. So because my patience for her crying during the day in her crib doesn't usually stretch beyond 30 minutes, I have succumb to driving my little girl around town.
We have a regular route: Up Taylorsville Rd. to the Gene Snyder South, then down to the BIlltown Rd. exit, headed back towards home. This is the perfect route for Bella to fall asleep on and for me to grab a Starbucks coffee if need be. But with gas prices nearly passing the $3.00 mark, I am debating on whether or not to extend my taxi service beyond our household. I mean, afterall, every baby's gotta nap, right?
So for those of you with sleepless infants or toddlers, give this mom a call to ensure your baby gets a safe and peaceful sleep. =)
